What is US President Biden's position on the Gaza crisis?

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken went to Israel for the second time on Monday after four days of conflict. It is likely that he will highlight US President Joe Biden's position on the crisis. Biden told the American news channel CBS on Sunday that the United States will provide everything that Israel needs and he thinks that Hamas needs to be wiped out.

The US President said, 'Israel is going after a group of people who are associated with brutality. Their brutality is a continuation of the Holocaust. That's why I think Israel has to respond. They have to go after Hamas.'

Calling Hamas a group of cowards, the US president said they are hiding behind civilians.

When asked about Israel's blockade of Gaza, cutting off all water, electricity and fuel supplies, Biden said, "I think it should make way for humanitarian aid to reach Gaza."

Israel has hundreds of tanks and military equipment ready in addition to hundreds of thousands of troops deployed along the border to conduct ground operations in Gaza. In this context, calling on Israel to exercise caution, the US President said that the occupation of Gaza would be a "colossal mistake" for Israel.

He also mentioned that the way to establish a Palestinian state should be kept open.

Biden is considering an invitation to visit Israel. He may visit the country soon.
