Biden calls on Israel to protect hospital in Gaza

US President Joe Biden said he hopes Israel will reduce its destructive activities at Gaza hospitals. The hospital must be protected. The United States is in contact with Israel in this regard. He said these things to reporters in the Oval Office of the President's Government Office on Monday.

Then Israel launched an indiscriminate attack on the Gaza Strip. Their indiscriminate bombing has killed more than 11,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children.

After the airstrikes, the Israeli forces started a ground operation. They attacked one hospital after another in the name of eliminating Hamas. The Ministry of Health of Gaza has alleged that they attacked Al-Shifa Hospital last.

Ashraf al-Kidra, a spokesman for the health ministry in Hamas-controlled Gaza, said the hospital had stopped operating after running out of fuel. Two children in the incubator died. He said that a total of 45 children were killed in the hospital.

Many countries have called for a "humanitarian pause" to allow aid trucks to enter Gaza and allow people to move. However, some countries have demanded a permanent ceasefire to resolve the conflict.

Last week, the US asked Israel to allow a four-hour daily break in northern Gaza.

Israel's military released a map of eight locations in Gaza on Monday following a US request. They claim that a daily break of four hours is being given at these places from last Wednesday. Most of them are in the northeastern part of Gaza City. However, Israel said that a four-hour ceasefire was also given in Rafah city in the south yesterday.
