At 31 years old, the oldest dog died

 

The dog's name is Bobby. A mixture of brown and white color on the body. Looks like ten other dogs. But Bobby is no ordinary dog. He is a star. The name is listed in the Guinness Book of Records. Because, Bobby's age. Bobby turned 31 last May. He is also recognized as the oldest dog in the world.


Within a year, Bobby's 31-year journey has stopped. Long lived Bobby died last Saturday at home in Portugal. Age was 31 years 165 days. Bobby has been treated by veterinarian Karen Baker for a long time. He posted the news of the dog's death on social media.



Bobby was born on May 11, 1992 in Portugal. On February 1, Bobby entered the Guinness World Records as the oldest dog. This record was previously held by a dog named Bluey for almost 100 years. The Australian dog died in 1939 at the age of 29 years and 5 months.


Bobby's owner is Lionel Costa. His home is in the village of Conquerios in Portugal. Bobby lived there. Lionel Costa said, Bobby Rafeiro is a breed of dog. These dogs are bred to guard livestock. Each dog lives 12 to 14 years. But Bobby was an exception.
